The Bhagavad Gita is an ancient scripture based on the conversation between the God-like being Krishna and the leader of the Pandava army, Arjuna, as they begin the war of Kurukshetra in the longest epic in the world, the Mahabharata. This battle is an allegory of the spiritual path where we can use love as our armor. Krishna imparts his wisdom upon Arjuna as if he is a devotee seeking the true path towards self-realization. The path laid out is expansive, and open to interpretation on how to fulfill our personal and unique fullest potential. The study of this sacred text provides solutions for everyday life. We can take this ancient universal wisdom and transform it for today's awakened consciousness.
